The relationship between brain development, adverse childhood experiences

Abby Patterson, program manager for the Iowa Child Abuse Prevention Program, will be at Halverson Center on Feb. 12 for Understanding NEAR: Neuroscience, Epigenetics, Adverse Childhood Experiences and Resilience. The training will focus on understanding the relationship between brain development and adverse childhood experiences, as well as how to make individuals, families and communities more resilient.
