Carla J. Nigro Spirit Award Winner
The 2017-18 Carla J. Nigro Spirit Award was presented to Kristi Kelly, school psychologist out of Glenwood. Kristi has worked with the agency since 1989. She was nominated by several people, including LEA and AEA staff. Quotes from her multiple nominations include the following:

representative (school psychologist, school social worker or special education consultant),who
exemplifies Carla’s spirit in his/her daily work with students, parents, teachers and coworkers. Carla was a school psychologist, who passed away in 2010 from cancer. Carla always demonstrated a positive outlook, friendly nature and a passion for helping others. Congratulations Kristi!
