Elevate to eat less

Interesting tidbit in the Fall issue of Blue (Blue Cross/Blue Shield) . . . At restaurants, request a high-top table near the entrance. Dr. Brian Wansink, author of Slim By Design: Mindless Eating Solutions for Everyday Life, found that diners order more salads and fish when seated at elevated tables, while they are more likely to order dessert when seated far from the front door.
