Building excitement for snow days

Eric Krakowski, husband of Brandi Krakowski (school psychologist, Peterson), recently made a lot of kids happy. Eric is the assistant principal at Duchesne Academy, Omaha. To announce a snow day earlier this month, he used, quite appropriately, the tune from Frozen's Do You Want to Build a Snowman. Part of his message on Tuesday, Feb. 2, stated, "Don't ask about Wednesday, take it one day at a time." Well, Wednesday brought yet another snow day, another opportunity to come up with a clever announcement -- this time to Aladdin's A Whole New World. Needless to say, students and parents were so impressed they starting sharing his announcements on social media and it became news throughout the city. You can listen to his creative snow day lyrics here.
