Iowa Legislature approves 2.25% school aid increase

Last week, the Iowa Legislature approved a 2.25 percent increase in state spending for Iowa school districts. Iowa Governor Terry Branstad is expected to sign the two education spending bills -- Senate Files 174 and 175 — passed by the House and Senate. Read more here.
